How can I mute a speaker? How can I turn off the camera of panelist? how can I pin a panelist?

Hand Over/Pin the Panelist

Once the speaker starts giving presentation, you may hand over full stage to him/ her.

Admin, Host and Moderator can control this function.

To do so, kindly follow the steps below:

  • Hover your cursor over the speaker you want to hand over the stage to, and click on the pin icon highlighted below:

  • The other panelists would be seen only in the top right tile as above.

  • To take back the stage, again click on the same unpin icon.

Control Mic and Camera of the Panelist

Ideally, the panelists, other than the one owning the stage, giving speech and presenting, should preferably keep themselves on mute with cam off.

Sometimes the background noise of the panelists can be very disruptive, create echo making it unclear and unpleasant for the audience.

However, in such cases, often the speakers themselves might not realize the same.

Therefore, to avoid such circumstances, we provide Hosts/ Admins with an access to control their mic and camera.

You can mute and turn off the camera of the speakers if required.

To do so, please refer to the steps below:

  • Navigate your cursor to the respective speaker's screen.

  • You will see the icons of mic and camera respectively.

  • Click on the required option as highlighted below

Note:

  • If required, in any adverse circumstances, then you may also remove the speaker by clicking on "Exit" option above.

  • Once you have mute the speaker or turned off the cam, you cannot undo it from your end. Respective Speakers will have to unmute or turn on the cam themselves.

  • Advise your panelists before the session itself, to keep their mic/ cam off when not required.
